We see her fight her way back from the oblivion that is Priya with the aid of a man she never thought she could trust. There is no what that what I first thought had happened could have happened… could it? I struggled with it. You never wanted it to end. Okay so I’m not usually a strictly romance or erotic book reader.
She is incoherent with unwanted lust, her mind wrestling with the horrifying effects of fae glamour. We got a teasing glance in Barrons past, but other than that, book 5 has to be packed full of answers – or I may harm somebody. The situation is appalling, and I an rather outraged at myself for loving her moninng monologue in this moment, but mining can’t be helped.
The fifth and final book, Shadowfever.
With each book I’ve grown to love him more and more. So, MacKayla comes around.
