At the age of 12, he moved and spent 7 years in Malaysia, where his grandfather retired before he arrived Melbourne in After completing a Bachelor of Biomedicine at Melbourne University, Katsu continued his study at Melbourne where he obtained a Doctor of Physiotherapy with distinction degree in Katsu then started his private practice career in the western suburbs prior to joining The Joint team, where he enjoyed treating a variety of musculoskeletal, sporting and occupational injuries.
Despite his not-so-tall height, he grew up playing basketball and kendo Japanese fencing but appreciates and enjoys all types of sports. At The Joint, he is looking forward to promoting the wellbeing of our community and promoting awareness of what physiotherapy can do to the Japanese community because private practice physio is almost non existent back home!
He recently spent two years working across both public and private sectors in London, gaining further experience in chronic pain and spinal rehabilitation. She moved to New Zealand in to start her career in physiotherapy and then on to London in to continue the journey. Katie chose a career in Physiotherapy to help people in the community rehabilitate and achieve their personal goals. In her spare time Katie enjoys yoga, live music and road trips. Katie works at our Fulham clinic.
Nick joined the Private Team in and specialises in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. He has special interests in treating a wide variety of shoulder and lower limb injuries, as well as sports injury rehabilitation. Nick prides himself on building a strong rapport with his patients in order to help them achieve their goals. He is motivated to make rehab fun and regularly attends external courses to further improve his practice.
Outside of work, Nick enjoys attending live music, surfing, playing beach volleyball, and has now taken up the drums to annoy his neighbours. Britt Raaijmakers Britt is from the Netherlands and graduated in Physiotherapy in Britt has been working in the Netherlands for seven years in a private clinic located within a fitness centre. This year, she decided to combine two of her favorite things: She also has a special interest in treating chronic pain.
It is always a puzzle to find all the factors that play a role in a persons pain and it is her passion to find the right treatment together to solve and prevent it. She likes spending time with friends and family, discovering London, play tennis or going for a run. Britt is based at our Crystal Palace and Charing Cross clinics. Since moving to London, Kate has gained experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings within the NHS and private settings.

She has treated a range of different musculoskeletal conditions; acute and chronic sports injuries, spinal pain and post-operative rehabilitation. Kate works out of our Beckenham and Crystal Palace clinics. In her free time she enjoys travelling, running and pilates. Andriana Tsiantoula Andriana qualified as a physiotherapist in Greece inhaving studied at the University of Athens. She then completed her Masters in Advanced Physiotherapy Practice at the University of Birmingham, focusing on Sports Physiotherapy and in particular football.
Andriana worked as a physiotherapist in Athens and gained experience treating a wide variety musculoskeletal conditions, as well as post-operative and functional rehabilitation. Her clinical experience has been mainly in lower limb rehabilitation and sports injuries. Her special interests are treating soft tissue and ankle injuries, especially in runners and footballers. Andriana has worked for a rugby team and was responsible for preventing and rehabilitating sports injuries.
She is passionate about swimming and volleyball. Claire took a course in Anatomy, Physiology and Holistic massage. Claire now specialises in chronic or ongoing conditions, soft tissue rehabilitation, shoulder dysfunction and injury, swimming injury, pelvic and hip dysfunction, as well as pregnancy massage.Welcome to Physio Fitness - Meet the Bondi Junction Clinic Team
Claire is passionate about swimming, yoga and pilates and practices as often as her family allows! Helen began her career in the NHS, completing in and outpatient rotations before returning home to Cork Irelandwhere she worked in a neurological outpatient setting treating movement disorders along with musculoskeletal conditions.
Helen returned to London to complete a yoga course. She regularly practices yoga herself and now teaches classes across London. Helen is very caring and compassionate by nature but remains goal orientated to ensure clients reach their optimum potential.
Helen is based at our Islington and Harrow clinics. Harry uses a mixture of manual therapy and personalised exercises to make his treatment programmes fun and enjoyable, as well as using problem solving to tailor rehabilitation plans for his patients.
In his spare time, Harry plays county football and was vice-captain of the University football 1st team. He frequently enjoys running, weight training, cycling and is currently learning French.
He also enjoys cooking, DIY and gardening — and is the lead of the St. Georges Hospital allotment project. These involved treating a variety of conditions such as patients post stroke, elective orthopaedic surgery and intensive care. Her approach to physiotherapy is thorough using long assessment sessions — generally 1 hour and extended treatment sessions.
This allows for extensive soft tissue work and mobilisation, patient education regarding their condition and the teaching of self-management strategies and exercises. Debbie often treats patients with complex and multiple problems. When the patient leaves they should feel empowered and better able to aid their own recovery.
